Iva Ivanova was born in 1986. She has a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Economics - Varna. She holds two master's degrees – in International Business from the University of Economics - Varna and in Law of the European Union - a joint initiative between St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University and the University of Nancy (France). She speaks English and Russian.
Until 2009, Ivanova worked in the banking sector. Since 2010 to date, she has held various positions in the Head Office of the State Fund Agriculture - chief expert, head of department and director of Directorate Negotiations on the Implementation of Measures for Development of Rural Areas.
By decision of the Board of Directors of SF Agriculture dated August 19th, 2022, Iva Ivanova was appointed Deputy Executive Director with departments Rural Development Program 2014-2020 (PRSR) and Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Program (MAFP) 2014- 2020.
