The State Fund Agriculture prepared an indicative schedule for the forthcoming authorisations under the direct payment schemes and measures for Campaign 2020, as well as for the state aids. BGN 1.7 billion will be distributed to farmers by the end of the year.

SF Agriculture would like to inform all applicants for support under direct payment schemes and measures that cross-checks on applications for support under 2020 Campaign started on 9th July 2020.

“In the current year, we launched on-site inspections under the 2020 Campaign coupled support schemes for fruit and vegetables earlier. These are intended to make sure that declared data by beneficiaries is correct on site,” SFA Deputy Executive Director Ivan Kapitanov said during an on-site inspection of a vegetable grower in the land of the village of Bratanitsa, Pazardzhik region.

SF Agriculture paid an additional BGN 4.3 million (BGN 4,270,397) under 2019 Campaign coupled support schemes for fruit and vegetables. Of these, over BGN 2.7 million (BGN 2,770,398) was paid additionally to 13,221 farmers who received their subsidies on 17th March the current year. Another BGN 1.5 million was authorised to beneficiaries, for whom administrative checks had not been completed at the time of payment in March.

Applicants under the two European schemes - the School Fruit Scheme and the School Milk Scheme - may apply for approval for the school year 2020/2021 from 1st July to 31st July 2020. Documents shall be submitted at SF Agriculture’s regional directorates, according to the registered office of the applicant. Application forms were prepared in accordance with the form approved by the Executive Director of State Fund Agriculture and are published on the SFA website.
