   Between June and August, State Fund Agriculture paid nearly BGN 193 million of subsidies to Bulgarian farmers under the direct payment schemes and measures for Campaign 2015.

  41 265 farmers received nearly BGN 94 million in the form of transitional national decoupled subsidy for tobacco. Additional payments of BGN 55 750 000 were granted to 51 745 farmers under SAPS. BGN 3 858 600 have been paid under the Specific Support for Cotton. More than 9 000 farmers were granted BGN 10.5 million under the Scheme for Small Farmers (SSF), which is active for the first time since Campaign 2015. In addition, State Fund Agriculture paid nearly BGN 1 million to young farmers. More than BGN 27.5 million were granted to 1 900 farmers under the "Agroecology and Climate" measure of RDP 2014-2020. The measure provides support in the form of yearly compensatory payment to farmers, who voluntarily apply agri-environmental practices.
