In March 700 projects for development of small farms were approved for start-up aid for the development of small farms under RDP 2014-2020. At the regional offices of the Fund the contracts of the approved candidates are being prepared and signed.

Under the five measures of the National Beekeeping Program (NBP) 2017-2019 were received more than 2 200 applications for financial aid. The resource set for the year is BGN 4 758 590

In February, the State Fund Agriculture – Paying Agency paid nearly BGN 13 million for projects approved under the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014-2020.

In February, the State Fund Agriculture paid BGN 522,000 to the animal keepers that were approved during the first tranche under the measure for reducing the production of cow’s milk.

Zhivko Zhivkov is the new Executive Director of the State Fund Agriculture – Paying Agency. The decision was taken by the Managing Board of the Fund at its regular meeting on 15th February 2017.
