State Fund Agriculture provides a State aid /de minimis/ of BGN 4,379,000 to support beekeepers in 2016. 3,381 applications for assistance with nearly 386,000 bee colonies were filed in the approved deadline for admission, which ended on September 26.

Nearly 4 000 applications were submitted for support under the measure for startup aid for the development of small agricultural holdings of RDP 2014-2020. The budget for this round of application under this measure amounts to the BGN equivalent of EUR 30 million, whereas the total subsidy requested by the applications of farmers is approximately EUR 55 million.

Between June and August, State Fund Agriculture paid nearly BGN 193 million of subsidies to Bulgarian farmers under the direct payment schemes and measures for Campaign 2015.

State Fund Agriculture approved 62 projects for 2016 for restructuring and conversion of vineyards under the National Support Programme in the Wine Sector 2014-2018.

The budget for disbursement in the first call under sub-measure 4.1 Investments in agricultural holdings of the  RDP 2014 – 2020 was increased by the BGN equivalent of 14 851 200 EUR for already received applications for aid.
