A State aid of over BGN 4 million for beekeepers for 2016
State Fund Agriculture provides a State aid /de minimis/ of BGN 4,379,000 to support beekeepers in 2016. 3,381 applications for assistance with nearly 386,000 bee colonies were filed in the approved deadline for admission, which ended on September 26. The approved applicants for a minimal aid /de minimis/ for beekeepers in 2016, will receive funding of up to BGN 11 per bee colony within the approved annual budget. A responsibility of the beekeepers is to keep 80 percent of the number of bee families for which they received financial and submit a certified veterinary journal of the apiary until December 1st with information about the completed mandatory autumn prophylactic examination of the bee colonies. The deadline for the conclusion of contracts and the payment of the aid is from 17 to 31 October, 2016.
