Nearly BGN 145 million have been paid under Direct Payment schemes
In March SFA paid additional BGN 25 million in grants to 1 566 farmers under measure 11 Organic Farming of the Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020.
The aid paid under measure 10 Agro-environment and Climate of RDP 2014-2020 comes close to BGN 13 million.
The paying agency has started transferring the grants under the coupled support schemes for fruit and vegetables. Nearly 7 000 farmers who applied for financing for greenhouse production of fruit and vegetables will receive funding under the schemes. The total amount of funds paid by the end of March under the Coupled Support Scheme for Fruit is BGN 37.5 million. The financial aid under the Coupled Support Scheme for Vegetables is BGN 33.5 million. The financial aid under the Coupled Support Scheme for Vegetables (greenhouse production) is BGN 5 million.
At the end of the month State Fund Agriculture paid over BGN 30 million for protein crops, for the 2015 campaign. These grants went to 11 000 farmers who applied for the scheme and are raising protein crops.
