Nearly BGN 20 million were transferred for Animal welfare of birds
In March, State Fund Agriculture transferred nearly 20 million under 200 contracts for implementation of voluntary obligations for Animal welfare of the birds.
The state aid for Animal welfare covers the expenses incurred or the loss of profits related to the obligations for Animal welfare of the birds, taken for at least five years. This year payment is planned for laying hens, parents, broilers, geese, turkeys and ducks and the maximum aid intensity is on an annual basis.
