    In March 2017 the State Fund Agriculture - Paying Agency transferred over BGN 79 million under schemes and measures of the Rural Development Program 2014-2020.

  Almost BGN 6.5 million were paid for investments in agricultural holdings under over 36 approved projects. Contracts, signed during this month are 49, the subsidy for them amounts BGN 18.5 million. BGN 1.9 million were also transferred for investments in processing of agricultural products.

  In March BGN Half million were paid to farmers with approved projects for start-up aid for small farms. The subsidy is paid to candidates who have already concluded contracts under the sub-measure and have begun the implementation of their projects. State Fund Agriculture paid BGN 455000 under sub-measure for young farmers. Under the transitional measure 223 for reforestation and maintaining of RDP 2007-2013 were transferred nearly BGN 49 000, under the measure for technical assistance were paid almost BGN 12 000. Over BGN 400 000 were received by nine farmers with approved projects under the Rural Development Program 2014-2020.

   In the middle of last month, nearly 28 000 farmers who work in disadvantaged areas received a subsidy of BGN 70 million for Campaign 2016. BGN 10 000 were transferred for Natura 2000 and the Water Framework Directive within this month.
