    Currently the State Fund Agriculture - Paying Agency (SFA - PA) has paid nearly BGN 27 million. (BGN 26,945,792) under the two European School Fruit and School Milk schemes for the school year 2020/2021. Of these, BGN 21,792,656 are for realized deliveries of fruits, vegetables, milk and dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables in schools and kindergartens. BGN 676,418 are for reimbursement of costs for delivery of honey, and BGN 4,476,718 are for reimbursement of Value Added Tax (VAT) to the approved contractors.
    The standard unit cost schedules for the school year 2021/2022 for delivery of products to adolescents are determined depending on the packaging - individual or non-individual and the method of production - conventional or organic, and are published on the website of the State Fund Agriculture. During this school year (2021/2022) under the School Fruit and School Milk schemes, in addition to conventionally produced fresh fruits, vegetables, milk and dairy products, children and students will also be provided with organically produced ones.
    In addition to the products under the two school programs, honey will be delivered as a mandatory accompanying measure - minimum 3 and not more than 6 times per school year. The deliveries under the schemes will be made as per a time schedule, specified in advance and agreed upon with the school director.
